26th October 2010 — World Snooker comes to Gloucester!
28th August 2010 — Appointment MIUS are pleased to welcome Mason Stalham. Mason joins MIUS as field based service engineer for the London area. Mason will be joining our service team in response to growing third party service maintenance for NHS hospitals including growth in equipment sales. "2010 has seen another record year for MIUS with significant growth in our third party service contract business. Jon joins MIUS as First line call response driver. Continuing growth at MIUS requires additional support for customers so as part of our continued commitment we are expanding our team through 2010 1st November 2009 — Fraser shows off at NEC Bike ShowFraser Yule, our veterinary specialist is a keen biker and loves old bikes as well as the thrill of modern racers. In 2007 Fraser decided to renovate an old 1979 Moto Guzzi Le Mans based cafe racer. Completing his project earlier this year, Fraser was persuaded to enter the bike in ‘Britain’s Got Biking Talent’ run by Carole Nash Insurance through Motor Cycle News. Bikes are entered and the entries are whittled down by a judging panel. The public then vote for the best 2 out of each category and the winner announced at the British Motorcycle Show at the NEC in November
Fraser’s Guzzi has been short listed as one of two in class, so qualifies to be on show at the NEC from 26th November until 6th December 2009. Raise awareness of Breast Cancer Care’s Pink Fridays fundraising campaign, in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October "I am launching a long term campaign, starting today, (Which is the first "PINK FRIDAY" of the month), to raise awareness of Breast Cancer and money for The Breast Cancer Care charity" – says Paul Mount 20th July 2009 — Appointment MIUS are pleased to welcome Trudy Gregory. Trudy joins MIUS as Service Call Out Coordinator. Trudy will be assisting Christine and Alison with customer requests for service support. MIUS have a “No Automated Call Handling” policy, your phone call will be answered by a member of staff, not a machine! We aim to provide phone technical support within 30 minutes for all contract holders followed by prompt on site support as required 13th July 2009 — Appointment MIUS are pleased to welcome Russell Langley. Russell joins the Engineering department as a service engineer. The service department is growing rapidly in response to growing demands on its services following MIUS's expansion into third party service maintenance. MIUS now maintain over 100 NHS Trust group ultrasound systems. This susses comes from the clear determination of all the staff at MIUS to provide unparalleled customer service, coupled with substantial saving to the NHS 7th February 2009 — Appointment MIUS are pleased to welcome Richard Hall. Continuing growth in medical and veterinary sectors has resulted in a need for MIUS to strengthen its presence in the North of England and Scotland. Robert has played 5 rounds to reach the quarter finals including matches against world semi finalist Joe Swail and former world champion Peter Ebdon All the staff at MIUS Ltd have been following Rob’s progress and are excited to see how he has turned around the season after a slow start and how well he is doing in Bahrain. David joins the Engineering department as a service engineer. MIUS have won significant contracts with the NHS over recent years as a direct result of offering a customer friendly service with real cost saving agreements. Tim joins the Engineering department as a service engineer. The service department is growing rapidly in response to growing demands on its services following MIUS's expansion into third party service maintenance. MIUS now service all makes and models of ultrasound systems including the latest and most advanced scanners 1st October 2007 — Appointment MIUS are pleased to welcome Gary Fraser. Gary brings with him a wealth of experience in Ultrasound equipment service and supply. As well as being involved with MIUS's core equipment, Gary will also be responsible for all Dynamic Imaging product support and service 25th August 2007 — MIUS HQ Relocates Due to continued growth MIUS headquarters have been moved to new premises. Now located on the outskirts of Gloucester in easy reach of the M5 Motorway, These new premises give us six times as much workspace, twice as much office space and significantly more storage and refurbishment area. With this move our phone and fax numbers have also changed. email remains un effected 1st August 2007 — Appointment Joe Witcomb has been training as an apprentice engineer with MIUS for the past three years, in this time Joe has been working closely with our in house engineering team, in particular under the experienced guidance of our workshop supervisor Alan Preece. Joe now joins our field engineering team as Field Service Engineer
