| Level 1, Introduction of Small Animal Ultrasound course - One Day The small animal Introduction Ultrasound course covers the basic fundamentals of ultrasound. Lectures cover the basic ultrasound physics, allowing delegates to understand how to get the best from their ultrasound machines In the morning we cover abdominal scanning, with a brief lecture and demonstration, followed by ‘hands on' sessions. The afternoon focuses on echocardiography and common cardiac problems, again with a brief lecture followed by the practical sessions The majority of time is devoted to practical scanning sessions, including practice with ultrasound guided biopsy techniques |

| Level 2, Intermediate Ultrasound course - Two Day The small animal Intermediate Ultrasound course covers more advanced ultrasound scanning techniques and is intended as a follow on from our popular Introduction to Ultrasound courses. This course is a two day meeting with two diagnostic specialists, each specialising in either Abdominal or Cardiac imaging. Tuition is provided on referral level ultrasound equipment This is an ideal course for you if you have mastered general techniques and can interpret general pathology but now find you have reached a glass ceiling. | Level 2, Cardiac Ultrasound course Mount International have once again teamed up with Mark Patteson to offer value for money ultrasound training courses. New for 2009 is an intermediate to advanced level cardiac ultrasound course to be run in Portishead, Bristol . This 1 day course will encompass the everyday imaging modalities along with training on the more advanced techniques including M Mode, Colour and Doppler imaging. There will be 2 gold standard workstations on the day and with only 8 delegates on the course, there is guaranteed ‘hands on' sessions for everyone.
